I preached the Hitachi Magic Wand gospel for years.
I used it as intended:
For my neck, back and shoulders…
But we also had a lot of fun over the years…
And I’d be lying to you if I said it didn’t give me dozens of Big Os.
So, what changed?
That’s When I Started Noticing the Cracks
Hitachi is the brute-force cracker of the vibe world:
It’s big, it’s loud and it plugs into the wall.
And believe me when I say this thing is LOUD.
(I’ve learned to time it around when my roommate’s not.)
Unfortunately, the power cable makes poor contact…
So it randomly shuts off unless I hold the cord in a certain way.
Plus, it has only 2 settings.
The highest setting is almost painful, if I’m honest…
And I’ve heard from other women that it can be too intense for direct stimulation…
Or so intense it makes it harder to get off to anything gentler afterward.
Finally, its big ole bulby head gives very broad stimulation…
But sometimes it’s nice to go a little more targeted.
A Conversation That Changed Everything
I went for brunch with my friend Jess after not seeing her in a while.
And she was absolutely glowing…
You know, in a way when someone is so happy and relaxed they radiate from within.
“Who’s the lucky guy?”, I asked.
She chuckled and told me it wasn’t a guy…
But something WAY better.
She said a few months back she’d started using Charley by Cosara.
I’d never heard of it before.
But as she explained how it worked, everything started to make sense.
